A huge thank you to United Way of Southern Kentucky. BCHS JROTC received a $6,000 grant this year from United Way to support improvements to the program’s fitness and training equipment. Funds were used to purchase free weights, bench press machines, curl bars, plate weights, and materials to update the obstacle course.

A core principle of JROTC is motivating cadets to strengthen both their minds and bodies, and this new equipment will help support that mission for years to come. BCHS JROTC cadets are grateful to United Way for investing in their program and providing resources that will benefit students for years to come.

Through grants and community support, United Way continues to make a positive impact in schools across the region by helping provide opportunities and resources that support student success.
