6th graders are "Top Dogs" at Temple Hill. They are role models for the lower grades and are expected to set a good example in all areas of our guidelines for success: Be responsible, be open-minded, be cooperative, be a problem solver, and always treat others with dignity and respect.
Effort and attitude are what make you successful. Try hard and stay positive.

I do the very best I know how - the very best I can; and I mean to keep doing so until the end. Abe Lincoln
This quote should apply to everyone in the class. If each of us will do the best we know how, the best we can, and do that all year long, then I think as a class we will be successful and as individuals each of us will be successful. I use the words "us" and "we" because as a teacher I should do the same as my students: the best I can, the best I know how, and will do that all year long.
