The Barren County Educational Foundation accepts tax deductible contributions for Family Resource Centers and the Youth Service Center. These Centers were established with grant funding to assist children and their families to achieve their full potential. Grant funding has been consistently reduced, while the need for assistance has greatly increased. Donations may help children and their families with health services and referrals, emergency assistance, educational support, family literacy, basic needs, holiday enrichment, and other issues that may arise. Centers operate limited food pantries and clothes closets. Center coordinators may be contacted year round. Further information may be found on links on each school’s website.
