Welcome to Temple Hill Elementary, home of the Bulldogs! I have been teaching exceptional education (ECE) reading, math, and language arts at Temple Hill Elementary for over 20 years . My first year teaching was in the basement of the old Temple Hill building. Temple Hill Elementary and all of the bulldogs that have come through hold such a special place in my heart.
I have a degree with a double major in psychology and sociology from Kentucky Wesleyan College and two masters degrees from Western Kentucky University; one in learning and behavior disorders and another in school guidance counseling. I grew up in Franklin, Ky and graduated from Franklin-Simpson High School a long time ago.
I am married to Nelson Paiz and we live in Glasgow with two big puppies (Saint Bernard and Great Pyrenees mix) --Mia and Milo. I also have a black cat named Squirt. My favorite things to do are go to concerts and travel. Of the places that I have visited, Guatemala, Switzerland, and New Zealand are my favorites, but there truly is no place like home. I love all kinds of music and will go to a concert every chance that I get. My favorite sports teams are the Kentucky Wildcats (basketball and football), Nashville Predators (hockey), and the Cincinnati Reds (baseball).
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, concerns, or just want to say "hi." I love to hear from former students and their families. (Some former students may remember me as Mrs. Kristin Norris).
