Barren County Schools' Reopening Plan REOPEN

Task force committees made up of board members, administrators, staff, and parents have been working diligently to develop plans to reopen schools.  The safety and health of our students and staff has been our top priority.

We are also including a way for students, parents and staff to submit questions after reviewing the resource on the reopening webpage.  Please submit your questions by Wednesday, July 15.  We will release a video addressing your questions and concerns the week of July 20.  Access the survey at the bottom of the reopening webpage.

Barren County High School Receives National Recognition for Commitment to Empowering Students


Barren County High School announced today that it has been recognized as a Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Distinguished School for providing broad access to transformative learning opportunities for students through PLTW Biomedical Science and Engineering. It is one of just 143 high schools across the U.S. to receive this honor. PLTW is a nonprofit organization that serves millions of PreK-12 students and teachers in over 12,200 schools across the U.S.  Click for full press release.
