Welcome to the North Jackson Elementary School website!  My name is Jeannie London and I am excited to start my fourth year as the Principal here at North Jackson Elementary!   I began my teaching career in 1989 at Kyrock Elementary where I worked for seven and a half years before taking a sabbatical to raise our two small boys. In 1998, I returned to teaching and began working at Park City Elementary. During my tenure at Park City, I taught grades four, five and six, as well as served students in the special education program. In 2009, I had the privilege to help open North Jackson Elementary and taught sixth grade until 2013, at which time I became the Assistant Principal. It will be a blessing to continue to work with the students, staff, parents, and community during this unprecedented time.

There is no doubt that the 2020-2021 will look different from any we have ever seen.  The BC Healthy at School Plan has been created to help navigate through these uncharted waters and this plan has been shared with all stakeholders to view. In addition, the staff at NJE has been busy synergizing and planning, as well. An informational slideshow and a  "Welcome Back" video has been posted on the school website and shared on Facebook and Twitter. Our hope is that all of this information combined will assist parents and guardians in choosing the best Option for their family.

On behalf of the wonderful NJE staff, we would like to say thank you in advance for partnering with us throughout the upcoming journey. We have always admired and appreciated our parents/guardians because we have the best, and the support you give us is second to none! WE are in this together, and WE are a Lighthouse School for a reason!  WE teach the Habits, WE model the Habits, WE believe in the Habits, and now, WE truly get to LIVE the Habits!

As Habit 6 states, "Together is Better!"  Together, we will continue to help our students "Dream, Believe, Lead and Achieve!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Jeannie London
