Your child's elementary experience is the foundation of learning. Learning the ABC's and coloring inside the lines is not what elementary school is about today. Basic reading and math, as well as crucial social skills, are the foundations of learning. If a student fails to get a good foundation at the elementary level, they will continue to struggle the rest of the way through school. That is why learning in elementary school is essential.
Reading, writing, math, communication, technology, and independence are the concepts that are stressed at the elementary level. If students are successful in those areas, they can do anything.
