BCHS Announces New Football Coach

Jeff Griffith, a 1995 graduate of Western Kentucky University with a B.A in Exceptional Child Education/English, a Rank II in Education in 2005, and a four year letterman as an outside linebacker at WKU will assume the head football coaching duties at Barren County High School.  Griffith comes to Barren County with an impressive coaching history.

School Lunch: There's an APP for that!

Looking for the lunch menu?  There are several new ways to see it!

1.  A full-color, poster menu will be sent home with students on Monday, Jan 12.  This menu will be used for the entire semester, so please keep this menu until the end of the school year.

Two Barren County Board of Education Board Members took their oaths of office Monday, January 5, 2015.  Charlotte Beals, current Vice-chair for the Barren County Board of Education was sworn in as board member for her fourth term and Amanda Wright, newly elected board member was sworn in to begin her first term.

National Beta Club names ATES a School of Distinction

The National Beta Club has recently named Austin-Tracy a School of Distinction.  This honor was bestowed upon the AT Beta Club due to its increased enrollment and focus on community service.  The Beta Club focuses on developing student leaders through service, character, and achievement.  Students in the Beta Club must maintain a high grade point average as well as participate in service activities in the school and community.

The ATES Beta Club was honored this past June in Richmond, Virginia by placing in the top five in songfest at national competition.

The Junior Beta Club at ATES is sponsored by Josh Maples and Elaine Linder.
