Rising Temperatures Prompt Barren County Staff to Pass out Water to Students Riding Buses
Posted On: Friday, August 22, 2014
Recent increases in the temperature have caused school officials to see the need to pass out water to students as they board their bus home. Cortni Crews, DPP for Barren County Schools stated that “temperatures outside and on the bus created a need for students to be well hydrated. We don’t want students to be uncomfortable or even worse become ill from the heat.” Pictured: Custodians passing out water at Hiseville Elementary.
