My name is Jeana Kinsman. My husband David and I have three daughters, Anne Calloway (13), Caroline (12), and Julia (8) and a dog named Cookie. I received my bachelor's degree in elementary education (with concentrations in early childhood and math) from Austin Peay State University. I obtained my master's degree in early childhood education from George Peabody College of Vanderbilt University. I have wonderful memories from teaching primary students at Hiseville Elementary for seven years. While at Hiseville, I served on the SBDM council, supervised student teachers, and served on various school and district committees. At North Jackson I enjoyed teaching intermediate science lab and most currently, third grade. I am serving on our SBDM council this school year, and I am also a sponsor of the Science Club. I'm a former Barren County Elementary Teacher of the Year, Kentucky Congress of Parents and Teachers Teacher of the Year, and I have received the Campbellsville Excellence in Teaching award. I love reading, music, gardening, and spending time with my family. I'm thrilled to be teaching 3rd grade at North Jackson Elementary! Please join our classroom at any time! You are always welcome!
