My name is Robin McMurtrey. I am currently in my 19th year of teaching. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 4th Grade, and have been an instructional coach. This is my second year in 2nd grade. I have a passion for learning and I love children. I am so excited to get this year started. I am the Kentucky Junior Historical Club sponsor and one of the Green Team Leaders at NJE.

I coach volleyball at Barren County High School. I love sports and being outside.

I truly believe that every day is a GREAT DAY!!!!

Wow!! It is hard to belive that we are at the end of a GREAT year. I have loved having your child in class and I will miss them dearly!! Enjoy your summer and "Sharpen the Saw"!

May 13 - Drama Play and Art Show 5:45 p.m.

May 15 - Field Day

May 16 - Awards Day 8:00- 9:30 a.m.

May 17 - Talent Show and Last Day for Students - dismiss at 10:30 a.m.

Field Day

We will be having Field Day on Wednesday, May 15th. Please send towels, a change of clothes, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, drinks, bug spray, and any other items you think your child might need.
