Meet Mrs. Frazier
This is my fifteenth year teaching in the Barren County School District. I have taught first, second, and third grades all at Hiseville Elementary. I also taught first grade for three years at North Jackson Elementary and K-1 and first grade at ATE. This year I am so excited to serve AT students in a new role. I will be our schools new Early Intervention Reading Specialist. I look forward to working with wonderful students and the new journeys we will encounter. Every year has been exciting and memorable, as I have been lucky to teach such awewsome students. Austin Tracy Elementary is a great place, where I truly enjoy being around enthusiastic students, staff, and parents.
I grew up in Glasgow and also attended Barren County Schools. I still live here with my family. I am proud to continue my educational career in the same school system. GoTrojans!
Here's a bit more information on my educational background. I graduated from Western Kentucky University in December of 1999 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I completed my Masters in School Guidance in 2006 and my Rank 1 in Guidance in 2012.
I love being outdoors! I love spending time on the boat with my friends and family at Dale Hollow Lake and Lake Cumberland. I enjoy working out at BARRECOMPANY. I believe being active is also an important part of a healthy lifestyle for children and adults.
In my classroom, I promote an atmosphere of safety, trust, and respect. I work hard to build a sense of community among my students, and I emphasize the idea of teamwork. I value cooperation and collaboration both in my classroom and as I work with my peers. I believe that great things can happen when we work together! Austin Tracy is a place where I hope you and your child feel like you’re part of a strong community and a winning team!
