This is my eleventh year of teaching and my fourth year teaching at NJE. I am excited to be teaching first grade again this year! I received my bachelor's degree in elementary education from Cumberland College in Williamsburg, KY. I met my husband while attending college there and stayed a year to teach in the Whitley County School district. The next year, I returned to Barren County and began teaching at Austin Tracy Elementary in the fall of 2003. I taught for six years at Austin Tracy and I have so many great memories there. I have taught, fourth, sixth, first, and second grades. I have completed my masters' degree in school counseling from Western Kentucky University and I finished my Rank I in counseling this summer. My husband Josh is teaching at Austin Tracy Elementary this year. We have two children. Jackson is seven and is in the second grade. Allie is four and is in preschool! We have had a great first semester in first grade!
