Glenn Byrd, ECE Guidance Counselor is a graduate of Western Kentucky University with a BS Degree in Industrial Arts Educaton and a MAE Degree in Guidance. After graduating from WKU, Glenn taught Industrial Arts at Warren Central High School for two years, at which time he decided to pursue other career interests in the human resources field in the industrial and manufacturing enviroment. While working in industry, Glenn enjoyed being in various communtity events such as Junior Achievement, Barren County Booster Club,United Way, and little league sport activities. Glenn was also the public address announcer at BCHS football games for 11 years.

After Spending 26 years working in industry in human resources, Glenn made the decision to return to education as an ECE teacher at Red Cross Elementary School. Currently is working as a guidance counselor and is coaching the 8th grade boy's basketball team. Glenn is married to Judy Byrd, who works at WKU as Associate Registrar and has two sons, Daniel and David who both are graduates of BCHS.
