Grading Policy:

Students will be formatively assessed daily to check understanding of the content. At the beginning of each unit students will be given a set of learning targets that should be mastered by the end of the unit. Throughout the unit students will be given “Learning Target Quizzes”. A final summative test will be given at then end of each unit. The target quizzes and the summative tests will be the only grades taken in class, so it is vital that each day is taken seriously as each day is a learning experience that will help students master the content. All other lessons will be learning activities and should be completed in class or outside of class. It is essential that class work and homework be completed to ensure mastery of the targets.
